Curlew & Redshank’ Linocut Tea Towe

This colourful, lively and generously sized tea towel features my linocut print of a charming seashore scene.  Curlew and Redshank wade in the foreground, yachts sail by and Terns hover overhead about to dive for fish.  This is the shore near where I live, I am lucky enough to see one curlew and other wading birds every time I visit.
I have printed this in striking turquoise and dark navy and there is a great feeling of breezy movement in the sky and sea. This would be a lovely gift for anyone interested in wildlife, birds, sailing, the seashore and the great outdoors. It would be perfect in a holiday cottage or in a pale kitchen wanting a burst of colour! It will evoke memories of time spent in nature, seaside holidays, adventures in boats, summer, pebbly rocky coastlines, mudflats, waves and tides coming in and out, the salty smell of the sea.
My linocut designs are originally carved out of linoleum or japanese vinyl, rolled up with ink and hand printed. This design has been screenprinted in two colours on good quality white 100% cotton with a care label attached. Size: 76 x 48cm, designed and printed in the U.K.  This item will be folded and posted flat with a Curlew Cottage Design card.
